Future Youth Group Pakistan celebrated International Youth day on 12 August, 2009 to draw attention of government and International communities on the day by organizing “Peace Walks” with the title of “The Role of Youth for Promoting Peace”.

Youth took banners with the Slogans of “Aman Jeetien Ge, Sub Rang Hamare, Diya Jalae Rakhna, Zameen Aman Ke Leay hai, Fasaad ke Leay Nahien”.

In 12 chapters/ district of Pakistan namely Ghotki, Larkana, Hyderabad & Badin (Sindh), Rahim Yaar Khan, Multan, Fasisalabad, Kausr, Lodhran, & Lahore (Punjab), Pishin & Loralai (Baluchistan).

FYG representatives in different chapters addressed to participants “FYG is striving for Youth empowerment, to creating political awareness and liberal democracy among the youth he said Youth should take part in political process they said that youth can play a vital role to bring a real change in the world, FYG condemned terrorist activities in the region he said that extremist has no religion because every religion gives the lesson for Peace & Tolerance”.

In “Peace Walks” organized by FYG Pakistan young generation including journalist, advocates & thousands members of civil society has actively participated over there.
